Southern Ocean Chamber February 16 Forum Focuses on Outreach

Modernize Your Methods as Stockton Manahawkin Campus will host Chamber’s Non-Profit Forum

For well over a decade the Southern Ocean Chamber has presented informative forums created to engage local nonprofit organizations that serve the Long Beach Island Region and Coastal communities. Set for this winter, the region's chamber has announced their next Non-Profit Forum, Modernizing Your Outreach Methods on Friday February 16, 2024 at 10am. This program will be facilitated by Sara Faurot Crowley, Director of Alumni Relations at Stockton University. Sara will use this forum to discuss on the new and successful methods for non-profits.

Communications have changed, has your organization stayed on course? During this one-hour presentation, Sara Faurot Crowley will discuss shifts and solutions on outreach for volunteers, board members, donors and to the public. New platforms continue to provide advantages as well as obstacles for fundraising, event planning and onboarding. Get an overview on what is working and what is losing momentum.

The event is scheduled to be held at Stockton Manahawkin Campus 712 East Bay Avenue. There is no fee to attend, but the organization representative must register with the Southern Ocean Chamber office by calling 609 494 7211 or emailing kate@sochamber.com   Grant recipients for the Ocean County Culture & Heritage Commission will receive credits for attending. Light refreshments will be provided. The Non Profit Forum is presented by Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, Southern Ocean Chamber Association, Stockton University Manahawkin Campus & The Ocean County Culture & Heritage Commission.
