Businesses rely on talent to help grow potential, with new residents moving into the area the Southern Ocean Chamber continues to prepare resources that will raise awareness to job openings. One platform that has been successful for several years is the Southern Ocean Job Opps group boasting of almost 5000 participants. Carefully monitored , chamber members have been offering a variety of employment opportunities  whether it is full time, part time or seasonal.  The page is actively promoted, listings are free to post and runs year round.  If businesses are planning on 2024 hiring, please include this resource to help raise awareness to your recruitment.   All candidates should follow reply to  the instructions on each individual job posting. Another exciting upcoming partnership is  with NJ Pathways to Career Opportunities, as we joined in with community colleges, Vo Tech schools, training providers, statewide  and other community based organizations to insure the education ecosystem reaches our region providing a strong workforce in areas of Health Services, Supply Chain Management, and Innovation.  As our chamber begins its 110th year of service, we understand the importance of a strategic workforce plan, detailed career pathways and identifying labor market demand for our business community. This is one of the many outreach programs that the organization is focused on as they move into the new year.
