Get Funded for Training and Workforce Development

The Department of Labor & Workforce Development provides grant and funding information for 2024!

The NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development has several grants that may be applicable to those doing business in Southern Ocean County and within coastal New Jersey. From Growing Apprenticeships, to Innovation and Research, there are many opportunities for small businesses to see if there is a fit toward receiving some funding to expand and develop the much needed workforce for your organization.  The NJDOL has listed grant criteria on a dedicated webpage located on their site.

The Notice of Grant Opportunity features application deadline, purposes of which funds can be used, eligibility of who can apply, amount the project is funded and contact information for technical assistance to discuss the application.  As grants are announced they will be posted to the site with necessary details. Businesses and non profits are invited to check back for funding regarding skills, training and other outreach programs that may be beneficial.  One program, UPSKILL, provides NJ Based employers up to 50% cost reimbursement assistance to train incumbent frontline employees to meet current and future occupational skill requirements.
