Unwrapping Plans for Dec 2 Ship Bottom Christmas Parade

Join us and ring in the holiday season with this 43rd year tradition, the Annual Ship Bottom Christmas Parade. The event will take place on Saturday December 2 stepping off at 1pm along Long Beach Blvd from 5th to 25th Streets.  The Borough of Ship Bottom and their volunteer Christmas Parade Committee has made adjustments to add a first ever rain date for the event December 9.

This year's theme is Christmas with Friends. Grand Marshal will Patricia Born in honor of Herbie Born, as the festivities surrounding the parade include the official Santa mailbox and stamp. Holiday beach badges on sale at Borough Hall. The Juding/Viewing stand is 19th & Blvd.   Participation is free, all Parade Participants MUST be registered by NOVEMBER 28TH 2023 to participate in parade. Sponsorships are also available. 

The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce is proud to be an ongoing sponsor for the past 44 years and encourages all to attend or to get involved in some way. Best overall trophy as well as cash prizes will be awarded for First, Second and Third Place or best theme for family and individual entry. There is no fee to enter a homemade float or vehicle.
