NJ's Conference On Tourism Returns To Resorts Atlantic City

The Garden State's Official Conference Shining Light on Opportunity November 30-Dec 1, 2023

The New Jersey Tourism Industry Association (NJTIA) is a non-profit trade organization with a membership that represents every aspect of NJ's multibillion tourism industry is hosting NJ Annual Conference on Tourism at Resorts Casino Hotel on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.   This is one of the most anticipated  conferences that brings together professionals  including associations, businesses, resorts, attractions, destination marketing organizations, transportation companies, as well as cultural, arts, and historic organizations to explore the latest trends and opportunities for the tourism industry. Attendees will benefit from over 15 specialized speakers with vital industry topics such as NJ-focused tourism trends and forecasts, branding, education, heritage tourism, customer experience, film updates, podcasting, arts & cultural and more. This gathering always creates new connections and business opportunities; from the Celebrate NJ Lunch, break out sessions and a show stopper opening night Reception.

Lights, Camera, Tourism NJTIA's annual Conference on Tourism will highlight the new opportunities in the booming film industry. Another highlight is the presentation of the NJ Tourism Excellence Awards, that will take place November 30. Any destination, organization, attraction or marketer can nominate a project by submitting an online application through NJTIA portal.  Projects, events, programs, partnerships, promotional initiatives, outreach, or attractions by any person, business, or organization, be it public or private, profit or non-profit who works toward the common goal of improving the New Jersey tourism product, increasing over-night stays, and attracting out-of-state visitors and increasing mid-week stays, increasing tourism expenditures, and positively promoting locations within New Jersey as a destination will be accepted. The nominated program must have been initiated, established, improved upon, and/or completed between September 20, 2022 – September 20, 2023. Deadline for nomination is October 4, 2023. Organizations are only eligible to win once every three years per category. The award winner will receive advance notice, complimentary ticket to attend the luncheon, as well as award , press recognition and digital credentials.
