Digital Tools for In Time For Vacation Planning

Celebrate January 31, National Plan for Vacation Day, with launch of new edition of digital Land & Sea Guide, updated newsroom and virtual visitor center

 

The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce representing the Long Beach Island Region of the Jersey Shore, reminds everyone that the last Tuesday in January is the official reminder to start your vacation plans for the new year. The organization has chosen National Plan for Vacation Day to officially launch new digital tools including the latest online interactive travel guide, the Land & Sea Passport which offers local insight to this well loved destination. Recognizing the importance of taking time off to travel—both for personal wellbeing and for the overall economic prosperity of communities. The Southern Ocean Chamber, funded in part by the NJ Division of Travel and Tourism through statewide grants has put important information at the fingertips of early birds who are looking for quick getaways or long awaited summer stays.  According to the US Travel Association, each year, Americans leave more than 600 million vacation days unused, and through the New Jersey Tourism Industry Association work year round in keeping visitors aware of the benefits of time well spent right in the LBI Region.
